Krama

The roaring lion kills no gameAfrican proverb

Krama is Sanskrit for method, attainment of the object desired. It is in reference most specifically to the position taken by animals right before they spring or attack. (The Radiance Sutras, Lorin Roche, p. 190)

And although history doesn't record it as such, the truth is, it is the lioness that does most of the hunting.

There is a whole lot of listening that must be done fiercely well, so pure in the moment, so instinctively felt, before there is ever a pounce, and only after the pounce, can there be a roar. it is one of the closest things to perfect on the planet.

It is a moment that knows no doubt.

Here's to listening.

May we roar.

Happy meditating,
